How to Improve Short-Term Memory
When you are facing the problem of forgetting things that
you heard, saw or did recently then you are suffering from short-term memory
loss. Short term memory refers to the information that you just taken in. This
memory is just for 15 to 30 seconds. According
to Modern study, a man can hold 4 piece of information per short term memory. The
main symptoms of short term memory loss are to ask the same questions again and
again, forget what you see, hear or read recently. Misplacing your common
objects, Forget the right word, Forget what you are currently doing are some of
the examples of short-term memory loss.
Short-term memory loss may be due to age factor, dementia,
brain tumors, any clot or bleeding from your brain, head injury, deficiency of
vitamins and minerals especially lack of B-12 Vitamin, sleeping disorder,
infections in your brain, silent strokes and stress.
Take it serious as it may lead to long-term memory loss. You should go for the chemotherapy if you have brain
tumor. Take medicines if you have any blood clot. Better your diet and if
possible take supplements, to cover up your deficiency of vitamins and
minerals. Supplements which are helpful in this case are B-12 supplement, Fish
oil, Turmeric, Ginger, Caffeine, and Broccoli.

memory.
Healthy diet also helps you to improve your memory. You
should eat fruits, vegetables and meat. Diet that contains especially B-6, B-12
Vitamin and Folic Acid is also helpful for you.
Whole grains proves to be very helpful for the proper
functioning of brain as it supplies energy. This increases the ability of
concentration and attention.
Oily fishes in your diet also helps you in improving your
memory. As most of the fatty acids can be obtained while using in the diet.
Blueberries contains antioxidant agent which helps you in the
improving of your memory.
Use of Walnuts also increase your cognitive performance as
it contains DHA and Omega-3 Fatty Acid.
Avocados is a fatty food which promote healthy blood flow.
This keeps your blood pressure lower and better for your cognitive function.
Chocolate
especially dark chocolate also helps in the improvement of attention, working
memory, and their response time.
Avoid taking unnecessary medicines.
Stop smoking as tobacco kills your body. Tobacco shrinks
your veins and effects your proper blood circulation. This causes memory
problems.
Avoid alcoholic drinks.
Avoid white glucose.
Play games like puzzles that sharpen your brain.
Make a lists of task that you want to achieve.

the habit of chewing the gum as it improves your learning and reaction time.
