Everyone nowadays is in the fear of Covid-19. They are well aware that Covid-19 is incurable. We can only fight against it by taking too much care and improves our diet. We can care in the sense that we should limited social meetings and remain isolated or quarantine our self. During quarantine, what to eat is the big question that everyone wants to know.  Our diet should be balanced so that our immune system boost up to fight against the diseases and we save our life. So, what to eat in this period is the most important thing. Here are the some tips of eating during quarantine. 
  1. Fruits and Vegetables: Fruits and Vegetables contains Vitamins, Minerals and Fibers that are very essential for our healthy life and boost up our immune system. By eating fruits and vegetables you can enjoy a variety of taste. No matter in what form they are, Fresh, frozen, canned or dried they are nutritious. Vegetables and Fruits also provide adequate fibre that helps in digestive system.  
  2. Eat unsaturated fats: Prefer the foods that contains unsaturated fats rather then that contains saturated fats. These fats prevents us from heart diseases and also lowers our cholesterol level. Foods that contains saturated fats should be removed from our dietary plan. Saturated fats contains in cheese, butter, meet, palm and coconut oil and in ice-cream. While unsaturated fats contains in nuts, seeds, salmon, sunflower, olive oil, peanut butter and peanut oil, corns.
  3. Stay Hydrated: Around 50% of the World population are suffering from dehydration. Drinking plenty of water keeps us healthy. How much water you required?. It depends upon your age, sex, weight, physical work, and the environment where you are living. Taking enough water helps in digestion, to fight against diseases, carrying nutrients to cells, normalizing blood pressure and stable the heart beat, excreting harmful substances. You can add lemon, mint and cucumber to enjoy your drink.  
  4. Protein intake: Protein is very important to boost our immune system and for the proper functioning of our body. It helps in carry oxygen throughout your body. Protein can be obtained from two sources, Animal and plant sources. Plant based sources includes seeds, nuts, cereals and pulses while animal based sources consist of meats. 
  5. Vitamin D: Vitamin D maintains the Calcium and Phosphate level in our body. Our bones and muscles strength depends upon calcium and phosphate. Sun is the major source of Vitamin D. But to stay safe, we should not go outside and use the alternative. Alternative means to use food that contains Vitamin D. Vitamin D consist in Salmon, Liver, Red Meat, Egg yolks and in cereals. 
  6. Limit your Salt Intake: You should consume less than 5g of salt per day. Most of our canned and frozen food consist of high level of salt. We should be conscious while taking salty foods. Eating high level of salty foods causes high blood pressure, kidney problems and heart attack. 
  7. Stay away from alcoholic drinks: Alcohol has bad effects on our body immune and nervous system. Depression, Anxiety, Fear and Panic are the main symptoms that you might suffer. Morever its constant consumption can cause cancer, high blood pressure and heart diseases. Alcohol weakens our immune system to fight against diseases.
